Free Packet Yep Ribbons
The brief email my unit training manager received last week confirming my enrollment said ABUs. I’ve not received any welcome packet or info yet, so have been buying off the FY18 checklist. Hoping to clarify this week. (I’m actually going to RCOT, and hope it’s OCPs too. Not a fan of spending $$$ on ABUs for just those weeks). Lavender Filled Stocking: Free pattern pieces included.Made with pretty fabric scraps and “hung” with bits of ribbon. Fill with dried lavender buds or potpourri. Lavender Luggage: Sew little luggage pieces then fill them with lavender buds and stuffing, it looks like you can hang them on clothes hangers (by the handles), tuck into drawers or set them out on a dresser to appreciate how.
Reddit does not allow more than 20 images per posts, so I was forced to split this post into two.
If you have not red the first part, about Achievements, you can find it here.
Let's keep going!
Ribbons take a good portion of the in game's User Interface during a battle, and in the post battle results.
In a way, they can be seen as micro-achievements. If you have a doubt on what a ribbon mean, well I'm here to break it down for you!
Torpedo Hit
Main Battery Shell Hit
Secondary Battery Hit
Penetration
Over-Penetration

Ricochet
Shatter
These ribbons will appear when your main armament, secondary armament or torpedo armament scores a hit!
A small number will also be displayed with them to indicate how many hit you landed. You'll notice that main Battery shell hits can also come in different form:
Penetration - The shell has penetrated and detonated inside the ship for significant damage
Over-penetration - The shell has passed right through the ship for minimal damage
Ricochet - The shell has bounced off the armor, dealing no damage.
Shatter - The shell failed to penetrate and dealt no damage.
Note that HE shells will only get the Penetration or Shatter ribbon to indicate their hits, and nothing else.
Also, you do not get an additional Shell Hit or any other forms for any Secondary Hits.
Caused Flooding
After a torpedo hit an enemy target, there is a chance that it will cause a flooding. Flooding does damage over time if the ship does not use his damage control party. Remember from our previous post that Ramming also has a guaranteed chance of causing a flood. This ribbon will notify you every time you do.
Set on Fire
When main caliber HE shell or a secondary gun's HE shell hit an enemy target, there is a chance that it will cause a fire.
Just like flood, fires deal damage over time on ships.
This ribbon will notify you every time you set a target ablaze.
Incapacitated
Upon landing any kind of ordinance, AP shells, HE shells or torpedoes, you can disable, Incapacitate and even destroy any modules caught in the blast or directly hit by said ordinance. These modules are the engine, torpedo tube, main gun and rudder shift.
You will get this ribbon every time to incapacitate a module on an enemy ship.

Hit to Citadel
All warships (on the exception of destroyers) have a citadel in World Of Warships: Legends. It is the most protected part of any ship and is often placed behind layers of tough armor. Although, if this armor is penetrated and a shell detonates inside the citadel, that shell will deal it's maximum possible damage, and that's a great amount of it. Most of the time, the citadel of a ship is located under the turrets and at the waterline, mid ship, where the engine is placed.
Warship Sunk
You've sunk an enemy ship!
For each foes sent to the bottom of the sea, a ribbon will appear and allow you to keep track of your score!
Plane Shot Down
Get your fly swatters out!
For each aircraft your ship shot down, you'll be awarded this ribbon.
Captured
Assisted in Capture
Defended
These ribbons are objective related, and are granted as follow:
Captured - Secure an objective or capture the enemy base by yourself. For this, you will need to go though the entire capture timer without being shot at and reset.
Assisted In Capture - Assist to secure an Objective or the enemy Base. This ribbon will be granted to all allied warships in the capture zone upon securing it.
Defended - Hit an enemy ship that is capturing a zone, or your base. This will reset the timer for that ship and delay the zone / base capture.
Of course, all these ribbons can be awarded multiple times in battle.
And that's it for today! Thank you for reading through this post, I hope this will help you getting a deeper understanding on how our game works.
Until then, Legends, go and Turn the Tide!
I was reading a post months ago about a UK sergeant mailing in his 3 medals because they forced him out within a year of retiring with pension. the guy actually deployed like 3 times throughout his 14.95 year career to earn those and they were important to him. I also hear the the marines don't get many ribbons either, I never worked with them in uniform and this was based off of books.
it seems like seeing a general with a rack from collar to waist would seem normal but privates graduate from AIT with 4 ribbons.
I feel that this is continuing the, 'everybody is special and gets a trophy' mentality that most military people are against. I read the tradition started with Napoleon and his soldiers, 'doing anything for a peice of ribbon,' and the military has a huge boner for tradition but I feel that these take more away from potential morale of a hard earned medal.
I don't think I am alone in this thought but if i am I am open to hearing why we have soo many.
If you’re bored of your current playthrough, then this is bound to liven it up.New personality traitsMany of the best Sims 4 mods affect the ways Sims interact with each other. Best sims 2 downloads. Using magic strengthens your powers and unlocks new spells, but it also depletes your “Magical Connection” (a mana bar, basically), and you’ll have to drain either yourself or another Sim to replenish it.Depending on your choices, you’ll lean towards good or evil, which changes the type of spells you can cast. Do-gooders can eventually bring ghosts back to life, but if that doesn’t sound like fun, just set fire to a table instead.
