Depending on the type of payee, your payment will be made electronically (delivered in 1 or 2 days) or by paper check (delivered in 5 days). We’ll make payments to your Chase payees the same day if you schedule them before the Online Bill Pay cutoff time. Send your payment, along with the payment stub from your monthly bill, to: Xcel Energy P.O. Box 9477 Minneapolis, MN. We include a pre-addressed return envelope with your monthly bill. We Energies Bill Pay Locations
On 12-6-2018 (closing date) I purchased a duplex located at ****** * ***** **** ********* ** *****. On 12-14-2018 I put in an online request to transfer utilities (electric, gas) for both units to my name. I received an e-mail reply instructing me to call WE Energies customer service, and I called on the evening of 12-20-2018 around 4 PM. After approximately 45 minutes spent on the phone with customer service, I was told that service for *** * ***** was successfully placed in my name, but that service for *** * ***** would require WE Energies to send someone to the home prior to placing service in my name, as it was listed as “inactive” in their system. The customer service representative assured me that someone would come that night, reactivate the service, and I would be able to call back immediately afterward to have the bill transferred to my name.
