I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.
The driver files list updated days, we only focused on Dell drivers update, and developed a driver catching software running to catch the new driver and drivers on Dell official site, so you can find almost all Dell Inspiron 14z (1470) drivers for your Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 32 bit and 64 bit.
Method 1:I suggest you to install all the latest pending Windows updates as below and check if it helps.
- Go to “settings” and click on “update and security”.
- Under tab “Windows update”, click on the icon “check for updates”.
- Then once you find the pending updates install it and check.

Method 2: I suggest you to download the touchpad drivers from the manufactures website for previous windows like 788.1 and install it in compatibility mode and check whether the issue persists or not.
Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.
- Download the latest and available driver from the manufacturer’s website.
- Uninstall the existing network driver from your PC through Control Panel.
- Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘Properties’.
- Click on the ‘Compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8/8.1 or 7 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
