Pros: USB 2.0 worked for a month
Cons: USB 2.0 stopped working after a month, only USB 1.1 works now, clueless tech support
Overall Review: Typical cheap junk, wasted my money. I would avoid anything made by PPA. Their tech support could careless.
Pros: Worked great for about a month, then one of the ports in the back completely stopped working. Since then only the second port works..but its still 2.0 fast..Cant beat the price.

Cons: Seems cheap. As some have suggested, there are quality issues with these cards.
Pros: cheap. easy installation. Worked right away!!
Cons: It worked for 3 months perfectly fine and stopped working as USB 2.0 after that. Its now working as USB 1.1!! All my USB 2 devices working as USB 2 on my laptop but as USB 1.1 on this card on my desktop machine. DONT BUY THIS. Add a few bucks and gets a better one. I tried Adaptec and this PPA one both showed the same problem. and its not the problem of drivers. So I bought Belkin this time ( ~20 dollers) and its working great!!
Pros: None
Cons: I bought 2 of these and couldn't get either of them to work in any system. I tried multiple systems and multiple OS's (Windows and Linux) and they didn't work. The OS's saw the cards but nothing that was plugged into them.
Overall Review: Save yourself the aggravation and pick up a better card for a few bucks more.
Pros: The built-in USB ports on my kids machine stopped working. Deleting them and allowing windows to reinstall didnt help. This card was basically plug n play and solved the problem.
Cons: a small one - drivers came on a 3 inch CD, which wont work on the sideways mounted drive. I have to turn the computer sideways to install.
Pros: Easy setup, Plug and play bsaically
Cons: none
Overall Review: cheap and effective
Pros: Low price, easy to install. Bought this for faster transfers to/from my USB flash drives. My system is a 1.7 GHz Dell. I opened the case and plugged in this card then rebooted. Windows XP Home recognized it and installed it automatically.
It works just fine. If your Win98 or Me system asks for drivers, go to the Win98&ME folder for them.
Cons: Can' t="" think="" of="" any.="">
Overall Review: Thanks, Newegg, for your competitive prices and attractive shipping rates!
Ppa Studio Usb Card Driver
Pros: It came in a useful box
Cons: This thing would not work at all. Windows saw it but anything plugged in would not work. Not sure if it was just my mb or not, didn't have any others to test it on.
Overall Review: My fault for getting the cheapest one here. Its not really worth my time or money to send this thing back. I guess next time I should spend the extra dollars for a better card.
Sotm Tx Usbexp Review
New version of HDPLEX H1 series Fanless PC case has the following changes.
1:SSD installation position is being moved to the bottom plate below the motherboard. There is a “bathtub” being carved on the bottom plate for one SSD position or maybe two if it is super slim SSD (<7mm).This change enable H1.SODD to support regular SSD and to allow better heat dissipation since nothing will block the aluminum top plate. Old H1.SODD only supports mSATA/M.2 SSD.
2: CPU aluminum top plate will have teeth. Increase the heat dissipation area and thus efficiency.
3: Improve the backplate for Thin mini ITX PCI Expansion card installation. Due to the decrease of thin ITX mobo options, I might make this thin ITX blackplate an option instead of include it by default. There is no thin ITX board for Intel Boardwell nor for Skylake CPU. Did they give up on Thin ITX??
4: Side I/O board will be improved. One side I/O board with soft silicon based USB 3.0 cable and power button will replace the original two side I/O boards. So only one side will have side I/O. Silicon USB 3.0 head is very low profile as well.

5: New H1 faceplate will have new mounting pattern for power supply.
The mounting for 250W HiFi DC-ATX is unchanged.
In sum:
New H1.S will support:
1: HDPLEX 160W AC-DC+HDPLEX Direct Plug Style 160W DC-ATX (like PicoPSU). This direct plug style 160W DC-ATX is not released yet.
2: HDPLEX 80W AC-DC+HDPLEX 160W DC-ATX
3: HDPLEX 250W HiFi DC-ATX
New H1.SODD will support mini-ITX (with 24PIN on the side only) in addition to thin-ITX.
1: HDPLEX 160W AC-DC+HDPLEX Direct Plug Style 160W DC-ATX (like PicoPSU) if the motherboard 24PIN ATX plug is on the side instead of being on the front.
H1.S will have an updated SSD rack which support two SSD. Just cause 3 download highly compressed. So H1.S will support max 3 SSD, two via this rack and one on the bottom bathtub.
New version of H1.SODD and H1.S will be avaiable for sale around 2016 April
