Or anything, really, that will note down where you find nodes. Eventually, you'll build up a map of where the best concentrations of nodes are, making it easier to go get X stacks of Y ore.

Gatherer is a pretty good one to have for mining,
This thread was opened almost four years ago back in 2010. They have a dark portrait meaning that they do not have an active account. While I'm sure you were trying to be helpful, please be mindful of the date that a thread was created. Necroing very old threads is frowned upon.
While the thread was opened four years ago, I find it most helpful. Specially since I am a returning player that has been out of the loop for the past 2 years. And a lot has changed...and I was never very good at playing and was pulled along with friends who power leveled me. Now I have the chance to figure it all out (without power leveling.) I still suck/panic in dungeons, but am getting the hang of it. But the thread helps me figure out what add ons work for now.
