Hey all, I just picked up my first pair of BOSE headphones (QC 35) and was wondering what the benefits of product registration was. On the card itself, it says (in fine print) that failing to register will not restrict you from taking advantage of the limited warranty.

I went ahead and registered anyway (something I rarely do for other pieces of electronics I've purchased over the years, but these are a bit special) - and didn't even get one notification or acknowledgement email.

Is it normal to not get a confirmation email of some sort? I don't believe I have a counterfeit device / serial number since I purchased the set through Nordstroms, which I believe is listed as an authorized retailer.
